The film is a portrait of artist John Andersson, living together with his mother in a suburb south of Stockholm, Sweden. John has been active since the early 80's and has often appeared with his surreal and odd comics in the magazine Galago and Kapten Stofil. He paints, creates book illustrations and makes music on analog synths. John listens to his inner voice and gets his inspiration from sci-fi films, dreams and visions. In the documentary, Johns cartoon characters come to life. His art and comics are displayed as short animations in the film.
